ResortQuest to Launch $1-A-Day Vacation Treasure Hunt, Jan 19th

Fort Walton Beach, Florida (PRWEB) January 14, 2010

Intrepid value-seekers who successfully solve clues in ResortQuest's Vacation Treasure Hunt will earn a chance to win a five-night stay in one of the nation's premier ski destinations for just $ 1 a day. The treasure hunt, which features a different destination every week for 11 weeks, begins Jan. 19 and ends March 30. A new contest starts at noon EST every Tuesday.

To discover the week's treasure, participants navigate through ResortQuest websites to locate a hidden treasure map icon. The treasure map will reveal the toll-free number and promotion code needed to call and claim the prize. The Web site will offer clues that, when unraveled, will help treasure hunters figure out the location of the week's treasure map. New clues will be added until someone finds the map and calls to claim the treasure.

Each week ResortQuest will select a vacation rental property -- a condo, vacation home or hotel suite -- at one of its ski destinations in Aspen, Breckenridge/Keystone or Steamboat, Colo.; Park City, Utah, or Sun Valley, Idaho, to be the treasure.

"Our goal is to create awareness and excitement about the vacation rental industry and to show consumers how easy it is to navigate through our Web site and book a vacation online," said Cheryl Spezia, vice president of marketing for ResortQuest. "We offer so much value and so many options, people can choose exactly what they want in a vacation at a fantastic destination."

Each ResortQuest ski destination offers a variety of unique vacation rentals in a distinctive resort town.

The Inn at Aspen Hotel is the only ski-in/ski-out lodging at Aspen's Buttermilk Ski Resort, home of the Winter X Games. Downtown is just a few minutes away and the hotel's complimentary shuttle can chaffeur you to Aspen's high-end shopping, five-star dining and trendy nightclubs.

Breckenridge vacation rentals range from luxury hotels and resorts in the heart of historic downtown, to expansive ski-in/ski-out private homes in Breckenridge Ski Resort neighborhoods.

Keystone properties are primarily centralized around the River Run base village, ranging from a condo for the budget-savvy vacationer to a luxury townhome retreat.

ResortQuest's Steamboat lodging surrounds the base of the Steamboat Ski Resort, ranging from ski-in/ski-out luxury condo to affordable townhomes just 3 blocks from the gondola. Our on-demand shuttle will escort guests to-and-from the ski lifts, and around Steamboat Springs.

Park City and Deer Valley offer condos and vacation rentals for vacationers looking to stay at one of the most accessible ski destinations in the world that's also home to the Sundance Film Festival.

Sun Valley has more than 200 condominiums and vacation homes for rent at Elkhorn, River Run/Ketchum, Sun Valley Village, Warm Springs and Mid-Valley, offering amenities and activities to fit any budget.

Vacation Rental and Bed and Breakfast Owners Benefit from Rentalos Exceptional Advertising Value, Quality of Leads and Site Functionality

Miami, FL (Vocus) January 15, 2010

If you are an existing vacation home owner or manager, or an individual considering renting your second home, recent testimonials from Rentalo's clients reveal high revenue potential for home owners and hospitality businesses. Marketing your vacation property online to find short term renters can be very costly and time consuming. It could take years and a small fortune to increase your business profits by trial and error. Savvy property owners, innkeepers and property management firms take advantage of the success of a leading directory to market their properties more efficiently. Below are some testimonials from existing clients of Rentalo.com; the Internets leading travel directory for advertising vacation rentals, bed and breakfasts and hotels.

Your website generates a lot of leads and a good majority of my bookings, says Shannon Paolocci, owner/manager of a luxury condo in Sanibel Island Florida, a 1,603 sq, 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment located in Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa.

I have been listing with Rentalo since 1999 or 2000. Through your web site I have received many, many inquiries and have rented to several of your clients. I have watched you grow into a leader in the vacation rental market since joining your site near its inception, shares Craig Caffall, owner of a beautiful vacation rental home in San Miguel de Allende in Guanajuato, Mexico.

Rentalo has been my major source of referrals since I joined 4 or 5 years ago, says Sharon Arkin, owner of Bed and Bagels Tucson Bed and Breakfast; an elegant, children and pet friendly B&B with desert and mountain views located in Tucson, Arizona.

In addition to the sites proven success in generating high quality leads and bookings for its clients, there are important site functionality factors that are very valuable for property managers. Here is what Ms. Paolocci says about Rentalos exclusive Auto-Offers feature: My favorite feature is the automatic offer. If I am not able to reply to a potential renter right away, at least they are being given some information about my unit so they have instant feedback and can see what I offer. Your website handles that automatically. I am notified that the offer is sent and can add to it when I am back at the computer. My property looks fantastic on your site and your layouts are great. Keep up the good work!

Rentalos unique feature called destination-based inquiries also has proven highly effective in allowing owners to find renters searching for accommodations in their destinations. I like it because it offers direct communication between travelers interested in my destination, says Sharon Arkin.

Making the web site more effective for travelers and property owners while maintaining affordable advertising costs has been challenging, but rewarding at the same time, says Alfredo Purrinos, President and founder of Rentalo.com. Our success is the result of my teams commitment to providing our inventory clients the best results at the lowest possible subscription costs.

It's very easy to navigate the site for both owners and travelers alike. You keep your listing prices to an affordable rate especially during this hard economic time. One of my favorite features is the fact that we as owners, can post as many pictures we see fit to promote our properties. And your availability calendar is easy to keep current and potential guests can understand it. When people ask me about renting my house in San Miguel de Allende, I send them to my Rentalo page of which I have the link printed on my business card. I have used other vacation rental sites but have found Rentalo to be the best for my rental needs. Thank you for all your help and service during these past 10 years and here's to many more years of rentals to come, says Craig Caffall.
